My story

Death, Taxes, and Good Conversation

I came to the United States in 1989 as a student at the University of Arizona. According to immigration law at the time, I was officially classified as an "alien."

I rather liked that title.

Being an outsider gave me a unique opportunity to observe and appreciate American culture. I became fascinated by the laws, opportunities, and systems that help people build better lives and create a future for their families.

There is a famous saying in America: "Nothing is certain except death and taxes."

Interestingly, my career has placed me close to both.

As an IRS employee, I help collect taxes. As an estate planning professional, I help people prepare for one of life's other certainties. That may sound unusual, but both roles share a common purpose: helping people navigate important transitions with clarity and confidence.

My work is not really about death. It is about family.

I help people create wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other legal documents so their wishes are honored and their loved ones are protected. Good planning can reduce stress, avoid conflict, and prevent families from facing unnecessary legal and financial complications.

Because when there is no plan, children are often left sorting through confusion, disagreements, and unanswered questions. I've seen it happen more times than I would like.

Words matter to me.

The documents I prepare are more than legal forms. They tell your story. They reflect your values, your relationships, and the legacy you want to leave behind.

Your words are not just words.

They are your wishes, your character, and your gift to the people you love.

How I work

Four principles guide everything I prepare for my clients.

Precision

Documents are prepared carefully so the names, dates, notary blocks, filings and signatures line up the first time.

Plain English

I explain what each document does in practical language so you do not sign blindly.

Confidentiality

Your personal information, family situation and financial details are treated with discretion.

Respect

You will not be rushed or pushed into unnecessary paperwork.
